Hello! I hope that this note finds you all well ! I have been working on new bokmarks, but haven't been able to post any lately. Please bear with me, I've had a couple of illnesses including the one I have right now, and the year has barely started ! ;p

I have a Cross Stitch Magazine up for sale on ebay:March 1991 For the Love of Cross Stitch Mag-22 Projects. Most of the patterns in it do not lend themselves to bookmarks, which is why I am selling it.

BED TIME STORY
This bookmark features a cute teddy bear in bed, all ready for her bed time story. The bear is brown, with a smiling face, holding her green book. The bed is light blue with a darker blue blanket, and the footboard is decorated with a pink heart and green accents. The words "Bed Time Story" are underneath in light blue.
This bookmark measures 61/2" with the fringe.

4 1/2 inch Bookmark: I'm Dieting ! I'm Not !

This bookmark was made from a pattern I made myself using science paper. It is based on a wall hanging my grandmother had in her kitchen, and pokes a bit of fun at dieting.
The pattern consists of two pig faces: The one on the top, slim and trim, but perhaps starving a bit; stitched with flesh colored x's and black backstitch. Underneath are the words: "I'm dieting !"
The second pig face is stout, with full cheeks and tounge licking its chops. The caption under it reads: "I'm not !"
This is one of my shorter bookmarks at 4 1/2 inches long including the fringes. A cute gift to send in a card for a laugh !
